Blinds

Woodcraft Shutters sells a variety of blinds in addition to our custom shutters.

Horizontal Blinds

Horizontal blinds include wood blinds in 2 1/2", 2", and 1" slat widths. These can also be ordered in a faux material, which resembles wood but is less costly. Aluminum blinds are also available in 2" and 1" (mini Blind) sizes in a variety of colors. We carry several different brands of these blinds. They are all custom-made, but we can deliver them in about a week after the order.

Vertical Blinds

We also carry several lines of custom-made vertical blinds. Although some fabric choices are offered, most customers choose textured vinyl. These look like cloth, are easily washable, and are room-darkening. They are inexpensive yet practical and stylishly cover large areas such as sliding glass doors. They often come with a valance to hide the hardware and have a choice of headrails with a safety wand control to eliminate cords around small children.

Illumasheers

Woodcraft Shutters features the Illumasheer from Tech-Styles. This product is a cross between a custom drapery and a vertical Blind. It is essentially a fabric wrapped around a vertical blind that provides softness and beauty but with the practicality of a vertical blind. Many materials are offered.

Shades

Woodcraft Shutters also offer woven woods, honeycomb or cellular shades, and roller shades.

Motorized Shades

Woodcraft Shutters has a long history of working with motorized products—hard-wired electric remote-operated shades from manufacturers like Somfy. We are now an exclusive distributor of the Q-Motion battery-operated roller shades. These eliminate the need for electricians and wiring to the window shades. They are an efficient, silent operating motorized shading system that is less costly than the complex wired systems but has the same functionality. Let us show you these new shades from Q-Motion.
